The Fabulous Elektra is hosting a party for Versatile at Club 1 Eleven. Versatile is having a birthday. He will be turning 29 on August 29. YES! That's right...29 on 29!!
Once again Club 1 Eleven is going to witness a party to beat all parties. The evening of August 28 is the date for ALL those who love to dance and boogie and rap and sing and generally be in-the-mood to party on through to August 29 when Versatile, also known as Versatwizy, celebrates his BIG 29 at Club 1 Eleven. He's won awards for best rap artist, best performance, best song and more recently has acted in stage plays. Involved in radio since 2005, it was at the radio station that Versatile and his colleague were chatting about his upcoming birthday. "Elektra," he said, "you put on such fabulous parties, how 'bout doing a party for me?" And that is how this fabulous idea came about!
With promises of "fun for everyone," Elektra will punch it up with electrifying Pow, Pow, Pow: giveaways, party favours, Versatile doing his thing performing for everyone, a big cake for the birthday boy, music of all genres with DJs Suppa Kid and Party Dude Jason mixing it up! Don't forget to wear your dancing shoes, as these very experienced and seasoned DJs will play all types of music in the house: rap, salsa, dancehall, disco and Caribbean. This party is about people dancing and enjoying themselves as they would at any birthday party.

The birthday boy Versatile a.k.a. Versatwizy
Entrepreneur, actor, singer, rapper, MC, radio host with his favourite music genre being hip hop, reggae and soca, Versatile was born in St. Maarten and doing music professionally since 2002. Versatile has performed in shows in Holland, Anguilla, Saba and St. Eustatius and taken acting parts in plays on the St. Maarten stage. He lives up to his name by rolling with the times, being versatile to whatever comes his way, making the most of what life throws at him and taking the negative and always turning it to the positive "The Real."
This multitalented young man, with a wonderful sense of humour, will continue with his immediate plans to work on his official album and take his music abroad going worldwide, especially to China and Japan. He is also brushing up on his entrepreneurial skills with a business venture starting in the not too distant future.
His favourite dish is seafood or Chinese Dim Sum. His choice guest at the dinner table would be Tupac, because being very knowledgeable and poetic Tupac could rap and speak about anything with great passion. Versatile, whose dream is to have his own house in the not too distant future, said his admiration for Tupac has helped him move up to where he is today.

Elektra, who has been organizing parties for the last five years and is known for her famous Pink Parties and Unique Events, will be bringing her creativity, style and flair to make Versatile's birthday bash the birthday party of the year.

Dubbed by many as "The Dancehalltologist," Kevin "Suppa Kid" Petrona has been the main force behind bringing dancehall/reggae music back to life on the island. Suppa Kid has wowed and at the same time has educated the island on what's hot and what's not on the dancehall/reggae scene.
Party Dude Jason
The J-Zone Laser 101 DJ with the most fun program on radio will play hits, remixes, pop, R&B, hip-hop, reggae, dancehall and old-school jam keeping the hot tempo going all night long through the 28th and into the 29th in honour of Versatile's birthday.
