DSC_0053~ Seven Seas new product line! ~

FOH Distributors NV and Seven Seas have recently been promoting Seven Seas new Joint Care line in St. Maarten. Seven Seas nutritionist Dr. Willem Vas Dias visited the island from overseas to educate the public and spread the word about GlucoMega and its many health benefits. Dr. Vas Dias stresses that there is science backing the supplements line and he wants people to know this so they can make an educated decision when purchasing Seven Seas JointCare supplements!

Dr. Willem Vas Dias

Dr. Willem Vas Dias is based in the UK and is responsible for the coordination of experiments which explore the effects of dietary Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in health. This is what he has been doing at Seven Seas Ltd. for the past 29 years! He is also responsible for reviewing clinical and scientific evidence, abstracting and interpreting scientific publications and maintaining a scientific data base. Dr. Vas Dias provides nutritional advice, teaches product information, provides consumer information, writes articles and undertakes many interviews and public relations activity.

Who can benefit from Omga-3 supplements

Everyone can benefit from adding Omega-3 fatty acid supplements to their diet, as it cannot be made by the body. Diseases such as osteoarthritis were once considered an old age disease, but doctors now believe this particular form of arthritis can begin as early as in our 20s, although the first signs may not be felt until we're in our 40s. Remember that various scientific studies have been carried out that back the need for supplement support!

Seven Seas JointCare!

The Seven Seas new JointCare range offers a natural and easy way to keep joints in good condition, and even reverses joint damage. Seven Seas joint care specialists are committed to sourcing "natural-occurring" ingredients like omega-3 found in cod liver oil and fish oil, also glucosamine and chondroitin. Using these ingredients as a base, they then use their expertise to scientifically develop unique formulas that fit in with your everyday joint care routine and help you keep your elbows, hips, knees and ankles working properly.

Only Seven Seas products contain the unique combination of GLUCOMEGA which is Glucosamine and Omega 3.

The following ingredients listed are what you will find in the new JointCare range:

Glucosamine

Important for the everyday rebuilding of the connective tissues around the joints. As we age, we become less efficient at renewing our connective tissue and this is where glucosamine can offer support. However, increasing your intake of glucosamine can be difficult, as it is only found in a small number of foods.

Omega-3 Fish oil

Helps maintain joint suppleness and flexibility. It's important to include omega-3 fats in our daily diets, as our bodies are unable to manufacture these in sufficient quantities. These essential oils can be found in fish like mackerel, herring and salmon.

Chondroitin

Naturally present in cartilage and connective tissue. Chrondroitin is difficult to obtain from a normal diet, as it is only found in a small number of foods.

Vitamin D

Required for the absorption of calcium into bones, as well as to ensure the maintenance of normal muscle function. People who seldom leave their homes, or who cover up completely, may not always be able to produce sufficient levels of vitamin D.

Calcium

Vital for bone development and maintenance and contributes to the normal function of bones, teeth, cartilage, bones, skin and blood vessels. Calcium is also essential to form collagen, an important protein used to make tendons, cartilage, ligaments, skin, blood vessels and scar tissue. Vitamin C additionally acts as an antioxidant to offset the damage that may be caused by free radicals. However, as it cannot be stored in the body, it has to be taken daily.

Vitamin C

Needed to make collagen. Collagen provides strength, resilience and support to your cartilage, tendons and bones.

Copper

Contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissues.

Collagen

Found in bones, joints, muscles and other connective tissue.

Manganese

Contributes to the maintenance of normal bone and normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Vitamin K

Has a role to play in blood clotting and building strong bones.

Vitamin E

Contributes to the protection of cell constituents from oxidative damage.

Remember that as we age, our bodies are less able to create new shock absorbing material. Taking supplements can help maintain supple, flexible and healthy joints and even reverse damage. Take the time today to explore all that Seven Seas new JointCare line can do for you and your loved ones.

Seven Seas brand is available at various supermarkets, health and beauty shops, cosmetic stores and pharmacies – exclusively by FOH distributors.
