Coastal trail run, walk to Orient Bay Sunday

MARIGOT--The third edition of the Coastal Trail Run and Walk takes place this Sunday January 29, from Fort Louis Marina, Marigot to Orient Bay.

Runners and walkers will gather at 6:00am at Marina Fort Louis to prepare for the start. Walkers will be the first to leave at 6:30am followed by the runners at 7:00am.

The 18K off-road course goes via Galis Bay, Pointe Arago, Anse des Peres, Friar's Bay, Happy Bay, Grand Case beach, airport, Anse Marcel, Chemin des Froussards, Wilderness, Cul de Sac, and Orient Bay.

Participants are advised to carry sufficient water with them and a cell phone in case of problems.

Entry fee for the event is 10 euros or US $15 which includes breakfast at the finish. Registration is at GymFit in the Grand Case Industrial Zone (Hope Estate) or at Tri-Sport in Simpson Bay.
